Choral/Vocal Music

This page provides a quick list of all the choral and vocal works that are found on this website, organized into categories based on the number of vocal divisions and instrumental accompaniment.  Every title connects to the full description of the work with complete information concerning instrumentation, commissioner, premiere date, duration, number of movements, program note, where to obtain the score and sample PDFs and MP3s where available.  It is also possible to search for music using the database filter set up in "Works".

Published choral works are indicated below and a link to the publisher's website can be found on the work's web page.  All other choral works can be purchased directly from this website by making a payment for a bulk order based on the number of members in the choir.  After payment is made, a link is instantly sent to the purchaser to enable immedatiate downloading of the score's pdf.  The receipt indicates that the choir has permission to make the number of copies paid.  Additionally, the choir will be provided with a personalized pdf of the score that includes a cover page that states the choir has a photocopy site license to reproduce the number of copies purchased.  Alternatively, choirs are encouraged to contact John Burge directly should they wish to receive an invoice and/or make payment using cheque or e-transfer.

All prices are in Canadian currency and are based on the number of pages of music in each score as follows:

  • $1.00 for 1-4 pages of music
  • $1.50 for 5-9 pages of music
  • $2.00 for 10-14 pages of music
  • $2.50 for 15-19 pages of music
  • $3.00 for 20-24 pages of music
  • $3.50 for 25-29 pages of music
  • $4.00 for 30-39 pages of music
  • $4.50 for 40-49 pages of music
  • $5.00 for 50 or more pages of music

Additionally, if desired a discount 5% for each group of 25 copies purchased at the same time will be applied to the above prices (25 copies receives a 5% discount, 50 copies receives a 10% discount, etc.), up to a maximum deduction of 50% off the prices listed above.  Please note that to obtain this discount the purchaser must contact John Burge directly for an invoice, PayPal billing or e-transfer.
